Ganja

The homeland of the great Azerbaijani poet Nizami the city of Ganja was known as an important centre of craft and trade throughout the Near and Middle East. The city’s landmarks, including the Khan’s Garden, even the city itself, have been renamed repeatedly by various rulers in the cause of their own glorification.
