Sun PhuQuoc Airways (9G)

Launched in November 2025, Sun PhuQuoc Airways is Vietnam's first purpose-built “resort airline” — a new carrier from Sun Group, the tourism and entertainment conglomerate behind some of Phu Quoc's best-known resorts, cable cars and theme parks. Where most airlines simply move passengers between airports, Sun PhuQuoc Airways is built around a “Fly – Play – Stay” philosophy: flights are designed to connect seamlessly into Sun Group's resorts, attractions and experiences on Phu Quoc Island and beyond, with a service style the airline describes as “premium, convenient and friendly.” The airline operates a young, expanding fleet of Airbus A320neo, A321neo and A321-200 aircraft across Economy and Business cabins, with hubs at Phu Quoc International Airport, Tan Son Nhat (Ho Chi Minh City) and Noi Bai (Hanoi), plus a focus base in Da Nang. Sun PhuQuoc Airways is scaling quickly, targeting around 25 aircraft by the end of 2026 and 30–35 by 2027, and in February 2026 signed an order for up to 40 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners to support future long-haul international growth.
